on the road again

We got home from Pittsburgh last Friday night. What a long trip! I didn't sleep much during it but I only got a little cranky. They didn't tell me that 9pm in Seattle is like 12am in Pittsburgh- no wonder I didn't want to talk to anyone.

Auntie B, Gema and I played with stickers on the plane for a long time. Then Auntie B showed me pics on her iPod. That put me to sleep. She's not very exciting.

I'm not fooling

I flew back to Pittsburgh last Friday night with Gema and Auntie B. I knew it was going to be a long flight when the airline called the house to say our 10 pm flight wouldn't be leaving until 11:30. We got on the plane at about 11:30 but didn't leave until almost one!!! I was not happy.

Luckily we made our plane in Detroit and I got to see Mommy right away. She's not in the hospital anymore and doing much much better. We stayed close to home Saturday but Mommy got her hair cut and it's very cute. On Sunday I went to church with Gema and we hung out at the house all day. I think everyone has a bit of a cold- even me. They're always wiping my nose. We got Chinese food for dinner that night. I didn't want to eat though. On Monday we got lost on the way to McKeesport for Mommy's appointment. But after we went shopping. I tried on lots of big funny sunglasses at Target. Auntie B likes to dress me up silly.

Today we went Trax farms to buy some yummy jams. On the way home we went to Burger King and I played on the playground and a silly boy kissed me! Ew!!! Mommy likes to put my hair in pigtails and little buns now. But I like to pull them out sometimes. I've claimed one of Mommy's clothes hampers as my own play toy. I like to put my toys in it and carry them around.

I have to go now though. I'm going to help them cook! I'll make sure they post some silly pictures of me soon!

Big Sister!

I'm going to a big sister soon. Mommy is going to have a baby on September 5th. I don't know if I want a little brother or sister.

Right now I am in Washington visiting my Gema. I'm going to go visit my other Grandparents very soon too. I'm going to play with all my cousins and we will talk to eachother in our special baby language that the grown ups don't understand.

Today, I went to visit Auntie B at work. I was being naughty this morning so Gema almost didn't take me. But I was much better and cuter at her work. I ate my quesadilla and was very charming to Auntie B's friends. I even tried to help with her work by typing on her keyboard.

Day with Georges

Today my day so far has been spent with my two best friends George and George 2. Our day started with having eggs for breakfast. Mommy makes them yummy. Then mommy and I played this morning with both Georges. Pushing them in their car and jumping on the couch. No more George's jumping on the couch. Then we had lunch. Both my George's enjoyed my peanut butter sandwich with me. and they kept jumping down so mommy had to pick them up all during lunch. But that is what mommy is for.
This afternoon we'll go to mommy's dr. appointment. Then we'll come home and play. Hopefully George will let me take a nap. He likes to jump on my bed at bedtime and naptime. Of course I join in to.

New things

There are quite a few new things that I like to do. My favorite toy at the park is the slide and mommy and daddy can't get me off of it. I like to "help" mommy around the house. I am a good helper when it comes to the laundry. Right now I need to go take a nap because I am grouchy.

Road Trip to Pa

Two weeks ago Mommy, Aunt Nancy and I took a road trip back to Pa. The first day of the trip was a fairly easy because all we did was drive to see Grandma and Grandpa Flood in Tricities. They were really happy to see me and thought I was so cute.
Monday morning before we headed out on our trip, Aunt Kristin and Emma came over to see me. Emma and I are still unsure of each other and don't really play together. I was too interested in the slide at grandma's and grandpas. Then we had to get in the car and start a really long trip back to my house.
The first day we made it to Montana. The ride was really long and really hot. Being stuck in the backseat was quite boring. I got fussy and just wanted to get out and play. It was a long night for mommy and auntie nancy up for four hours straight. So we got a late start the next morning. we got late starts most of the mornings.
The second day we stayed in South Dakota. Pretty much the same thing each day. I slept and wanted to get out and play all the time. I don't like sitting in my car seat for long times. But I like to sit in my car seat when its out of the car.
We stayed in Iowa the next day. We drove past the town where daddy lived when he was little. Except I was asleep. There isn't much scenery so not excited part of the country to see.
The last night we stayed in Indiana. by the airport or not to far from it. Mommy took a side trip that day and I got to see Notre Dame. We just drove around it because I think mommy didn't want to have to deal with getting me in and out. We made it to Pa that night and I was really happy not to have to be in the car anymore. I recognized daddy right away and ran to him. Mommy likes that because she gets a little break now and then.
We are waiting for the weather to cool of here. Its still really warm and I am running around in summer clothes.

Mommy is slacking

Mommy is slacking on keeping everyone update. This weekend has kinda busy.
Friday I had to go the doctors for my 15 month checkup. I am 20lbs 15oz. and 31 1/2 inches tall. The doctor said that I am doing just fine and I am hitting all of my developmental milestones. Then I had to get four shots. I didn't like mommy much because she was holding me with I got them. Later that afternoon mommy, gema, and I went to Federal Way festival days. Not that exciting. So we left and went to dinner. I decided that at dinner I wanted to have mommy's sandwich instead of mine. So mommy got suck eating peanut butter and jelly.
Saturday we stayed around the house. Mommy is busy trying to get us pack.
Sunday we went out shopping. I was pretty good at the stores until I got tired. I was in the cart at Linens and Things and decided to tell mommy that I was mad. Mommy and Gema were talking to a friend and I got bored.
I am learning new tricks all of the time. I hid from mommy and auntie nancy the other day. They couldn't find me for a couple of minutes. I was hiding in the corner of the dining room behind the chair.

Weekend

This weekend was a long rainy weekend. Gema is out of town so I am stuck with Mommy all day. Mommy got me pizza on Saturday night to eat. Yummy.
Yesterday(Sunday) Mommy, Auntie Nancy, and I went into Seattle to watch Auntie B do one of her triathlons. I got up at about 5:30 and stayed up until 10:30 without a nap. I was a happy baby most of the time, despite the fact that I was out in the rain for about 2 hours. Auntie B did really well. She placed 7th in her age group and 80th out of 3,500 overall. Yeah Auntie B. On the way home, I fell asleep and slept for two hours--I think mommy was happy about that. I woke up just before Auntie B and Spring stopped by. Now I have 3 cats to chase around the house.(Auntie B dropped her cat off for the week.)
Belle-Belle lets me pet her and talk to her. Snickers is my playmate. He lets me crawl all over him and I carry on conversations with him. Wouldn't mommy like to know what I tell him. I am going to miss them when I leave. I have found their climbing toy and I love to crawl up in it now.
